18th September 2016 Natasha 4Comment

Hi :) It’s a short one today, actually it’s an extra from the week before as I’ve not been around much this week. But you’ll see it’s exciting. I saw a badger in the garden, which is brilliant!!! It’s been a really long time since I last saw one. Loved watching it have a nose around, in a chilled out way :)

  1. Wow that’s really exciting Natasha – lucky you, would have loved to have seen that :)
I do hope the Badger comes back soon.
Are you putting mealworms etc out just in case?

  2. I know! and me too :) I’m not but sometimes the magpies don’t find all the mealworms I put down so there are some left overnight. I don’t put the mealworms out for the magpies, they are for the blackbirds, but it’s been quiet for those at the moment.

  3. That’s brilliant news Natasha, my daughter puts peanut sandwiches out for the badgers where she lives, I was lucky to see two one night when we were staying at her house, but that was many years ago. I think you will be getting some more visits soon, once they know that the Brambles Restaurant is open all night there will be no stopping them. I would be so excited I think I would be up all night waiting for the next visit, I bet you are too.

  4. Badgers are just amazing to see, as you know! Originally in the past there used to be two that visited, but I couldn’t see a second one the other night. I hope it comes back too! The Brambles is indeed 24/7 :)
